Competition does not include festival-only visitors who do not purchase a ticket to the Top Gear Live Theatre Show via Ticketek. Prize winner must be a New Zealand resident or another prize winner will be drawn.

How to export a tamed racing driver

You could be forgiven for thinking The Stig flies to overseas Top Gear Live events like the presenters and crew, but you’d be wrong. He doesn’t have a passport! Official secrecy prevents us from revealing exactly how he’ll get to Amsterdam, Sydney and every other destination on the ‘09/’10 Tour, but we’re permitted to narrow it down to three theories to give you a sense of how complex it is to ship a Stig abroad:

Who's better, who's best?

The simple answers to the questions above are: nobody, and Top Gear! In a survey commissioned by Channel 4 at the end of 2009, the BBC2 programme was voted number one TV show of the past decade, beating a host of firm favourites such as Doctor Who and The Simpsons to take the title. But then what else on telly really comes close? And you know what that means, don’t you? If the TV programme is that good, just imagine what seeing, smelling and hearing it is like at Top Gear Live!

When you think of famous battles, what comes to mind? Napoleon and Wellington getting a bit batey in Belgium? England beating The All Blacks 15-13 in Wellington back in '03?
